Donna Hart Vaughan

Donna Hart Vaughan, 65, went to be with her heavenly father Friday, August 16, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Vaughan was born in Greene County on December 02, 1953 to Mable Sauls Hart and the late Edgar Lee Hart.    She was a faithful member of Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Donnie Vaughan; two daughters, Kami Smith and husband, Timmy of Snow Hill and Kellie House and husband, Josh of Snow Hill; one brother, Gary Hart and Jackie of Farmville; two sisters, Dorothy Sutton and husband, Sam of Snow Hill and Barbara Ham of Snow Hill; a special sister-in-law, Letha Vaughn; two grandchildren, Aiden House and Addison Smith and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Vaughan was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, James Ham and Ronnie Vaughn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, North Carolina 27534.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
