Dollie Anne (Strickland) Flowers

Dollie Anne Flowers, 80, of Pikeville went to be with her heavenly Father Wednesday morning, June 5, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterwards.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Mrs. Flowers was born in Duplin County on January 31, 1939 to the late Henry and Lola Cox Strickland.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Fields and husband, Billy of Pikeville; five grandchildren, Mandy Taylor and husband, Marty, Rachel Carroll and husband, Justin, Heather Williams and husband, Kyle, Stephanie Flowers and Mark Flowers; nine great-grandchildren, Amber Taylor, Emily Taylor, Abby Taylor, Emma Carroll, Luke Williams, Jaida Moore, Mena Moore, Niia Moore and Damien Artis; daughter-in-law, Teresa Flowers of Pikeville; her special beloved cat, Tucker and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Jack Flowers; son, Jarvis Flowers; four brothers, Clifford Strickland, Ray Strickland, Russell Strickland and Wayne Strickland and one sister, Joyce Flowers.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
