Delora Thompson Ford, 65, of Warsaw went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, September 23, 2019.
Homegoing service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Cobb Cemetery in Faison. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Ford was born in Duplin County on July 16, 1954. She was a member of One Church of Raleigh.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Maggie Lee Thompson of Warsaw; two daughters, Tabitha Ragland (Chris) of Princeton and Shareeka Tennile Hooks (Mike) of Goldsboro; two step-children, Jermain Evans of Turkey, NC and Keisha Faison of Warsaw; one God-son, Bishop Christopher Paul of Raleigh; two brothers, Larry Donnell Morrisey (Pap) of Fayetteville and Larry Donnell Smith of Warsaw; one sister, Peggy Carroll (Raymond) of Warsaw; sister-in-law, Evelyn Thompson of Faison; two grandchildren, Joshua Hicks and Robyn Victoria McLamb; one great-grandchild, Quajea Hicks and a host of other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Thomas Thompson; one brother, David Thompson; one sister, Patricia Oates and one grandchild, Talaria Faison.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
