David Allen Smith, 56, of Pikeville passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at home.
A graveside service will be held Sunday. July 29, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bartlett Cemetery, intersection of Bartlett Road and Wayne Memorial Drive. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Smith was born in Wilson County on April 11, 1962 to George W. Smith and the late Ada Frances Wiggs Smith. He attended Faro Chapel PFWB Church while his health permitted.
He is survived by his father, George Wade Smith of Pikeville; his brother, George Ronnie Smith of Pikeville; aunts, Faye (Robert) Olsen of Hope Mills and Christine Rouse of Wilson and a special friend, Brenda Witherton of Goldsboro.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Wade Smith.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
