Darryl J. Ford

Darryl Jerome Ford, 55, of Pikeville passed away Friday, July 05, 2019 at UNC Rex Health Care in Raleigh.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Little Rock Church of Christ in Pikeville. Interment will follow at Golden Gate Cemetery in Pikeville. 

Mr. Ford was born in Wayne County on May 21, 1964 to the late James Arthur and Linda Green Ford.  He was employed with Cooper Standard for 34 years as a valued employee.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sherry Reid Ford; two daughters, Paige Ford and  Brittany Ford of Pikeville; three brothers, James Ford and Marvin Ford of Pikeville and Kevin Bass of Goldsboro; three sisters, Roberta Ford of Pikeville, Carolyn Best of Goldsboro and Ebony Sutton of Kinston; two grandchildren, Jae’shon Gray and Jayden Gray and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
