Dale Ray McKinney, 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 4 p.m. at The Bridge Church in Princeton.  The family will receive friends following the service.

He was the owner and operator of Dale McKinney Logging, LLC for over 30 years and was a member of The Bridge Church in Princeton. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. McKinney was born on February 5, 1952 in Tennessee to the late Eldon Daris and Jeanetta Ann Simpson McKinney.

He is survived by his wife, Exonia Dee McKinney; two daughters, Donna McKinney and Alice Kornegay and husband, Rayco; four sisters, Sondra Mooney, Elizabeth Smith and husband, Bill, Carol McLean and Jo Ann Riner; four grandchildren, Nathan, Kaylee, Luke and Miles; and one great-grandchild, Emma.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
