Christine Daniels Hunter

Christine Daniels Hunter, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the home after courageously battling a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at noon at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 700 West Ash Street in Goldsboro.  Bishop Alton S. Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Willow Dale Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Hunter was born in Wayne County on July 15, 1935 to the late Robert Lee and Roxie Simmons Daniels.  She was a member of St. Mark Church of Christ and was retired from the State of North Carolina.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons and three daughters.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hunter; one son, James R. Hunter and two daughters, Roxanne M. Hunter and Christine Mayes.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
