Billy Ray Grice

Billy Ray Grice, 76, of Kenly went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 06, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Methodist Church Cemetery in Princeton.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Grice was born in Johnston County on October 10, 1942 to the late Perry A. Grice and Mary Allie Parnell Grice.  He attended Community Baptist Church in the Saulston Community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lorene Hollowell Grice; two daughters, Ebby Vi Grice Phillips and husband, Robert of Pikeville and Renee Grice of Kenly; one brother, Melvin Harold Grice of Kenly; one sister, Pauline Thompson of Kenly; one grandson, Jim Hanus (Vanessa Grant).

In addition to his parents, Mr. Grice was preceded in death by five brothers, Bo, Tom, Hunk, Frog and Jake Grice.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
