Alfred Lambert

Alfred Earl Lambert, 88, of Smithfield, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with interment to follow at Selah Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born November 1, 1931 in Johnston County to the late Frank and Dora Howell Lambert.

Alfred is survived by one brother, Frank Lambert and wife, Cricket of Smithfield; one sister, Christine Herring and husband, Steve of Grantham and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Lambert and sisters, Edna Lambert, Dorothy Furr, Nell Boyette and Joyce Sasser.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
