Wilma Joyce (Hale) Tedder

Wilma Joyce Tedder, 86, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Brian Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3 p.m. central time at Linary Cemetery in Crossville, Tennessee. The family will receive friends following the service. 

Mrs. Tedder was born in Tennessee on May 10, 1935 to the late Gurlie and Hattie Brown Hale.

She is survived by her son, David Tedder and wife, Terri of Florida; three daughters, Barbara Hancock of Efland, Laura Weddington and husband, Robert of Goldsboro and Diana Gettinger and husband, Dean of Efland; one sister, Patricia Gunter and husband, Cecil of Tennessee; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Carl Tedder; one daughter, Sandra Christman; four brothers and one sister.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
