On Friday, July 16, 2021, Gerry Crocker, loving wife and mother of four sons, passed away, at age 80.
Rosary service will be held Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Visitation will follow the service. A Christian Mass will take place Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church in Goldsboro.
Gerry was born in Globe, Arizona, the daughter of the late Batista and Lena Giovando.
Gerry lived life to the fullest. She had a love of all sports, especially football. She was always the first one in the stands to see her children and grandchildren play.
Gerry was a faithful member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church where she was involved with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Gregg (Bob) Crocker, brother, John Giovando, her four sons, Gregg Crocker and Patsy, Scott Crocker and Christal, Blain Crocker and Mary-Hope, and Jason Crocker and Kelly. Known as Grammy, she is also survived by ten grandchildren William Privott (Noiralih), Brittany Privott, Gabriel Crocker, Bruce and Caterra Mccelland, Braeden Curran, Jake Crocker, Hinton Crocker, Adam Crocker, Allie Crocker, and one great grandchild, Newton Privott. Brother-in-law Bruce Crocker (Lynn), sister-in-law Janet Bissette. As well as several nieces, nephews, and her extended family, Melanie McCullen, Connolly McCullen Evans, and Logan McCullen Parnell.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Giovando.
