David Lee Swinson

David Lee Swinson, owner and operator of Webbtown Taxi of Goldsboro, departed this earthly life Monday, February 10, 2020 at the age of 102. 

Homegoing service will be held Tuesday, February 18th at noon at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church in Goldsboro where he was a member and Deacon.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.  Viewing will be held Monday, February 17th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. with family present from 5 until 6 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of his niece, Minnie S. Williamson, 600 Robinson Place in Goldsboro.

Mr. Swinson was born in Greene County on April 30, 1917 to the late Robert Swinson Sr. and Willie Ann Lewis Swinson.  He was the husband of the late Juanita Bryant Swinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
