Betty Lee (Peacock) Holt

Betty Lee Holt, 80, of Goldsboro passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Holt was born in Johnston County on October 22, 1939 to the late James “Jim” and Flossie Belle Hayes Peacock.  She attended Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church while her health permitted.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Holt Jr. of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Mia, Reagan and Mallory and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Holt Sr.; three brothers, Roland Peacock, James Earl Peacock and Robert Quincey Peacock and two sisters, Mary Lou Beamon and Bonnie Day.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
