Ida R. Davis July 28, 2010

Pikeville- Ida Ruth Mitchell Davis, age 82, of Countryside Living, passed away Wednesday evening, July 28, 2010 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mrs. Davis was born December 12, 1927 to the late Romie and Bessie Gurley Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Davis.

Mrs. Davis is survived by a brother-in-law, George Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends Friday, July 30, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. until noon at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont and other times at the home of Mike & Judy Aycock, 3429 Pikeville-Princeton Road in Pikeville.
