Fremont- Robin Kay Davis, age 53, of 7433-C Highway 117 North passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Davis was born in West Virginia on August 29, 1956 to Harold and Yvonne Waggoner Hite of Buckhannon, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Danny A. Davis; two sons, Brian David Elliott and wife, Blythe of Wilson and Charles Brandon Duke and girlfriend, Ashley Owens of Wilson; one step-son, John Curtis Davis of Rocky Mount; one step-daughter, Joannah Davis Lassiter and husband, Adam of Conway, NC; one sister, Charmaine Hite and life partner, Stan Rexroad of Buckhannon, West Virginia; one foster sister, Lorie Lee of Vero Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Joseph Elliott, Brianna Elliott, Michael Minton and Laurali Lassiter; one niece, Erin Lester and husband, Geoff of Charlotte; and a host of aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation NC Chapter in Wilson, 2620-B SW Forest Hills Road, Wilson, NC 27893.

The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
