John A. Zambelli July 01, 2010

John A. Zambelli, age 86, passed away Thursday morning, July 1, 2010 at Britthaven of Kinston.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Zambelli was born October 16, 1923 in Gloversville, New York to the late Samuel and Genevieve Zambelli. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his son, John L. Zambelli and wife, Novella of Goldsboro; his daughter, Veda Kay Carter and husband, Mike of Kinston; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Zambelli was predeceased in death by his wife, Louise Hill Zambelli; his daughter, Jo Ann Popham and several siblings.

The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
