Johana Carter February 24, 2010

Johana Carter, age 78, passed away Wednesday evening, February 24, 2010 at her home.

A private entombment will be held at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

Mrs. Carter was born in Massachusetts on August 4, 1931 to the late Joseph Greenwood and K. Nellie Ramshead Greenwood.

She is survived by two children, Brett A. Carter of Rosewood and Leanne Valley of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Daniel and David Carter and Jena and Jimmy Valley.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie C. Carter.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 26, 2010 from noon until 8 p.m. at the residence, 304 Nelson Drive in Goldsboro.

The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
