Willie Chester Fields Jr., 66, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Durham.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday at noon at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.   The family will greet friends following the service. 

He is survived by his wife,  Pauline Champion-Fields; two children; two stepchildren; three brothers;  four sisters and a host of grandchildren and other family and friends. 

The family is in the  care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
