Soline T. Provencal, 86, passed away peacefully on Feb 17, 2017 in Goldsboro, NC surrounded by her family.  Born in Andover, MA in 1930, she was the daughter of Albert and Rosealma (Beaulieu) Hamel.

Soline was an avid reader.  She also loved cross stitch, sewing, and playing bingo and other games.  Retired from Raytheon, she moved from MA to Florida in 1995, and later to Goldsboro, NC.

Soline is survived by her children Victor Poirier, Donna Wardle, Michael Provencal, Paul Provencal all of Massachusetts, Marc Provencal of California and Steven Provencal of North Carolina.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Victor Poirier, second husband Raymond Provencal, and brother Leo Hamel.

There are no calling hours.  Burial will be held at a later date in Lawrence, MA.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
