Wilson- Millard Ray Jones, 83, passed away Sunday, April 02, 2017 at the Oliver House in Wendell.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 06, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, April 05, 2017 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mr. Jones was born in Wayne County on August 05, 1933 to the late William and Carrie Capps Jones.  He was past employed with Kemp Furniture, Coastal Lumber Company, and C. R. Lentz Wholesale.

He is survived by one son, Stanley Ray Jones and wife, Deanna of Ayden; two daughters, Vicky Sutton and husband, Steve of Nashville, NC and Linda Britt of Clayton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and one on the way.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Roselean Jones and three brothers, Alton Jones, Robert Jones, and Ralph Jones.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
