Lena Mae Rhodes Vann, 77, formerly of Goldsboro went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Maryland.

A homegoing service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at noon from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vann was born in Wayne County on November 12, 1940.

She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Vann-Nelson and husband, James M. Nelson of Maryland; her sister, Pastor Gloria Rhodes Howell and husband, Thomas of Dudley and one grandchild, Donovan Nelson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stacey Edward Vann Sr.; her mother, Louvenia Rhodes; her son, Stacey Edward Vann Jr. and her daughter, Shelia Vann.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
