King C. Norris, 80, of the Rosewood community passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mr. Norris was born in Durham County on October 8, 1936 to the late Needham and Cora Tyler Norris.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Biggs Norris; one son, Kelvin Norris of Rosewood; five daughters, Kimberly Gagliano and husband, Christopher of Rosewood, Gina Cherry and husband, Tim of Rosewood, Pamela Marrow and husband, Mack of Plymouth, Deborah Morgan of Burgaw and Linda Polinski and husband, Paul of Burgaw; seventeen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
