Kenneth Dale Cox, 71, of Fremont passed away Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 03, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cox was born in Wayne County on November 07, 1945 to Clara Cox and the late Abraham Troublefield.  He was retired from the City of Goldsboro.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Annie Edmundson Cox; his mother, Clara Cox Reid of Black Creek; one son; three daughters; nine sisters; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
