Kay (Lewis) Millard

Kay Lewis Millard, 74, of Dudley went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Legacy Baptist Church in Mount Olive.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Millard was born in Duplin County on June 30, 1943 to the late Shellmon Hughes and Harldor Lewis and was raised by the late Charlie P. Lewis and Emma Sasser Lewis.  She attended Pikeville First Baptist Church and Legacy Baptist Church in Mount Olive.

She is survived by two sons, David Millard III of Faison and Reverend Luther James “Jimmy” Millard and wife, Jenny of Pikeville; two daughters, Emma Kay Lewis and husband, Steve of Mount Olive and Ginger Mendoza and husband, Gary Radford of Dudley; one sister, Faye Strickland and husband, Bobby of Mount Olive; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Millard was preceded in death by her husband, David Millard Jr. and a son, Tony Robert Millard.
