Joseph Thomas Richardson

Joseph "Joe" Thomas Richardson, 80, of Snow Hill passed away Friday, June 07, 2019 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Richardson was born in Virginia on April 28, 1939 to the late Luther Marvin Richardson and Rosie May Kennedy Richardson.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeffery Allen Richardson and wife, Shoshanna of Clayton and Mark Thomas Richardson and wife, Tracy of Clayton; four brothers, Frank Richardson of Virginia, Johnny Richardson of Tennessee, Winston Richardson of Tennessee and Denzel Richardson of Virginia and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Joyce Richardson.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
