John Clayton McCormick, 79, of LaGrange passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home.

John was born August 14, 1940 in Tennessee to the late Walter and Etta Nance McCormick.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda McCormick; one son, Douglas McCormick (Lisa) of LaGrange; one daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Tom) of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Sara Comer (Charlie), Elizabeth McCormick, Brian McCormick and Darlene Norman and two great-grandchildren, Preston and Paisley and one on the way.

No formal services will be held.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
