Glender Joyce White, 71, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. 

Homegoing service will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.  Viewing will be held prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born in Lenoir County on October 24, 1946 to the late Nathan and Helen Garner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis A. White Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Udana White Bivins and Teness White of Goldsboro; two brothers, Nathan Garner and wife, Margo of Kinston and Wendell Garner of Kinston; two sisters, Jacqueline Garner of Kenansville and Rosetta Williams and husband, Hubert of Washington, DC and two grandchildren, Tela and Lexus Bivins.
