Geneva Lewis Benton, 72, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Agape Living LLC in Augusta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North.  Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service from 2 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Benton was born in Wayne County on August 12, 1943 to the late Johnnie Lee Lewis and Cora Lee Cooper Lewis. 

She is survived by her son, Ronald Benton of Georgia; two brothers; one sister; and other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
