Mt. Olive- Dorothy Jennette Kelly, 86, formerly of Genesis Health Care in Mount Olive passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

No formal service will be held.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Duplin County on July 16, 1930 to the late William Rufus and Sallie Blanchard Jennette.

She is survived by one son; two daughters; one sister and two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by a son.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one's choice in memory of their mother, Dorothy Jennette Kelly.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
