Debra Denise Williams

Debra Denise Williams, 62, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Mount Nelson Missionary Baptist Church in Eureka.  Interment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery, Reidtown Road in Fremont.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Miss Williams was born in Louisiana on January 11, 1956 to Alma Folds Williams of Fremont and the late Wallace Williams.  She was a member of Mount Nelson Missionary Baptist Church in Eureka and attended Temple Baptist Church in New Bern.  Miss Williams was a flight attendant for over 30 years with Piedmont, US Air and American Airlines.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her longtime companion, Gary Johnson of New Bern; two brothers, Wallace Williams Jr. and wife, Wanda of Fremont and James Lee Williams and wife, Tamera of Fremont; two sisters, Susan Janette Gandy and husband, Reverend Steve of Charlotte and Tamra Elizabeth Renfrow and husband, Robbie of Fremont; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her precious pets, Beaux and Bella.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
