Dean Gordon Perrigo (July 22, 1934-April 22, 2016) went home to Heaven last Friday morning, April 22, 2016. 

Surviving is his wife of nearly 54 years, Vivian Irene Millington Perrigo of Rougemont, NC; daughter, Debbie Perrigo of Rougemont, NC; son, Andy and his wife, Carrie Perrigo of Roxboro, NC;  son, Terry and his wife, Laura Perrigo of Durham, NC; and six grandchildren: Kayla, Richard, Ryan, Terra, Robert and Russell and other extended family and close friends. 

Gordon was an active member of his churches, serving in various ministries over the last 53 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Most importantly, Gordon was a faithful husband and honorable father.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 3864 Guess Road in Durham with a memorial service to follow. Gordon will be laid to rest in a military burial at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road in Goldsboro on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 am.
