Pikeville- David Edward Hope, 58, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening, December 19, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterwards.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.

Mr. Hope was a native of Wayne County born on October 28, 1959 to Jacqueline Taylor Hope Jordan of Goldsboro and the late Edward Ernest Hope.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hope is survived by two sons, Jason Hope of Goldsboro and Brandon Hope of Pikeville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Hope and his step-father, Robert Jordan.
